Story:
The first execution happens on June 10, 1692. Bridget Bishop, a respected woman, is found guilty and hanged. Some people feel safer, but others are shocked.
The deaths continue. By the end of the year, nineteen people have been executed for witchcraft. Five more die in prison while waiting for a trial.
Fear now controls the community. Almost anyone could be the next victim.
